The devio® Hoof Hygienic System "Liesl K1" is manufactured in Germany to the highest quality standards using premium materials and components.
The entire structure, channel flow and disinfection unit are made of stainless steel. Technical components and controls are easily accessible through a removable side plate located underneath the steel casing. The advanced design of the Liesl K1 allows the client to select right or left hand installation of the technical components and controls providing maximum flexibility and ease of use.
The anti-skin tread surface is a unique Liesl K1 innovation. This glass fiber, reinforced plastic grid provides a safe and sturdy surface that supports the cows, rather than just have them stand in water. The nozzles centered on the bottom, spray approx. 25 cubic meters per hour, with soft pressure and remove the plague from the hooves.
The system is activated by two photoelectric barriers. The first barrier at the head of the system initiates the cleaning of the hooves, the second barrier at the end, activates the spray nozzles with the disinfection liquid agilosan.
Cleaning, disinfection, filtration and adjustment of the water level within the system, are all automated and computer-controlled. Only the recurring water change must be performed manually.
For a quick depletion two safety catches will open the drain shutter.
After the system has been depleted the walking grids can be removed to rinse off remaining dirt. Once the drain shutters are closed the system will refill itself. When the water level is at its optimal value the system will be ready for use.

agilosan®
agilosan is a biocide comprised of hydrogen peroxide and silver.
Hydrogen peroxide has been historically proven as the most environmentally safe solution for bacterial prevention and eradication.
The natural cleansing properties of sliver are used worldwide by numerous industries to achieve superior sanitary standards. Our proprietary method of fusing these simple elements together produces agilosan®; an ultra efficient, cost effective and environmentally safe biocide.
agilosan® is odorless, tasteless and non-toxic when prepared as a cleansing solution. The prepared solution is extremely versatile and easily applied, making it an unrivaled agent against fungi, legionella, viruses, bacteria, salmonellae and amoebae. For maximum flexibility and cost effectiveness, agilosan® allows for dosage concentrations to be calculated and adjusted as required. Specialized test strips allow precise monitoring and control of the concentration of agilosan® to ensure the cleansing solution is germ-free. Disposal of the cleansing solution is simple. The active agents biodegrade into simple oxygen and uncontaminated water, which can immediately be reintroduced into the environment.
The devio® Hoof Hygienic System offers the convenience of a dosing pump which can be adjusted to control the flow rate of agilosan® to the cleansing solution. To achieve maximum sanitary efficiency, a concentration of only 7% is required, making agilosan® one of the most powerful, safe and economical biocides currently available. agilosan® and devio® work together to create a perfect barrier that almost eliminates bacterial contaminants and the need for antibiotics and other costly treatments that can have adverse effects on livestock and profits.
